Declutter Your Toy and Game Collection with These Humorous Tips!

Are you tired of stepping on Legos and losing board game pieces in the abyss of your home? It’s time to declutter your toy and game collection! Here are some humorous tips to help you get started:

1. The Broken Toy Graveyard:
We all have that pile of toys we know we’ll never fix, but can’t seem to throw away. It’s time to create a broken toy graveyard. Gather up all those toys and make a little memorial for them – take a photo or two for memories’ sake, then toss them out.

2. The ‘Toy Test’:
If it hasn’t been touched in six months, it’s time to let it go. If you’re struggling with getting rid of certain items, try the ‘toy test’: put them away in a box for six months and if they haven’t been missed or remembered during that period, they’re ready to be donated.

3. Board Game Rules:
Do you have stacks of board games with missing pieces? Gather up all your incomplete sets and combine the remaining pieces into one set per game (don’t forget to recycle any unusable bits). Then donate these complete-but-not-quite-perfect sets so someone else can enjoy!

4. Donate Toys:
Donating toys is always an excellent option as long as they are still functioning correctly or only need minor repairs like new batteries or re-stitching seams etc., before being given away again.

5. Keep Only What You Love:
Perhaps the most important rule when decluttering toys is keeping only what you love playing with! Be honest about what brings joy rather than guilt-tripping yourself into keeping things because they were expensive or gifted by someone special.

In conclusion, decluttering your toy and game collection may seem daunting at first glance – but once accomplished, it will bring peace-of-mind knowing that everything left behind is something worth keeping around!
