5-Ingredient Recipes to Simplify Your Kitchen and Satisfy Your Taste Buds

When it comes to decluttering your life, one area that can often be overlooked is the kitchen. With busy schedules and limited time, it can be tempting to rely on pre-packaged or takeout meals. However, cooking at home doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. In fact, there are plenty of delicious 5-ingredient or less recipes that can help simplify mealtime while still satisfying your taste buds.

1. Tomato Basil Soup
This classic comfort food only requires five basic ingredients: canned tomatoes, vegetable broth, garlic cloves, cream (or coconut milk for a dairy-free option), and fresh basil leaves. Simply blend the first four ingredients together in a pot before adding chopped basil leaves for flavor and garnish.

2. Garlic Roasted Potatoes
Potatoes are a versatile ingredient that can be cooked in many different ways but this recipe uses just five simple ingredients: small potatoes (halved), olive oil, garlic cloves (minced), salt and pepper. Toss everything together in a bowl before roasting them until crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

3. Caprese Salad Skewers
If you’re looking for an easy appetizer or side dish that’s bursting with flavor this one’s perfect! You’ll need cherry tomatoes, mini mozzarella balls (also known as bocconcini), fresh basil leaves, balsamic vinegar glaze & toothpicks! Thread each skewer with a tomato followed by cheese ball then finish off with a basil leaf before drizzling over some balsamic glaze.

4. Baked Salmon Fillet
Fish is an excellent source of protein and healthy fats but cooking it can seem intimidating if you’ve never done it before! This recipe takes all of those worries away; simply place salmon fillets onto baking paper then pour lemon juice over them along with some melted butter & minced garlic seasoning plus sprinkle salt & pepper for taste. Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes at 180°C or until cooked through.

5. Peanut Butter Energy Bites
This snack is perfect for anyone who’s always on the go but still wants to eat healthily. You’ll need peanut butter, honey, oats, ground flaxseed and chocolate chips (optional). Mix all of these together in a bowl before rolling them into bite-sized balls then refrigerate or freeze until ready to enjoy!

Overall, these recipes prove that minimalism and decluttering can extend beyond just our physical possessions; it can also apply to our diets and meal planning! With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up delicious meals that are both satisfying and easy on your wallet.
